AUGUST
An award of $10,000 will be given to students any high school student planning to attend college in the Fall. Each applicant will be required to write an essay.

To be eligible for the $2,000 Nitro Scholarship you must be a student who is currently enrolled as a high school senior or in an accredited college or university located within the United States and have a GPA of at least 2.5.

The Requirements for YDI Scholarships are:
Scholarship value $7,000. You must be a resident of any of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or US Territories. You must be 16 years of age or older. OCTOBER
The National Space Club and Foundation, founded in 1957, is a non-profit organization composed of representatives of industry, government, academia, and private individuals, who seek to promote the United States’ leadership in the fields of space, rocketry, astronautics, and related technologies. One $4,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a high school senior, graduating from an accredited U.S. high school, must be a U.S. Citizen, must be a senior year in an accredited U.S. high school with the intent of attending an accredited U.S. college or university in the Fall and the applicant must plan to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in an aerospace field.

High School Heisman Scholarship
The Heisman Memorial Trophy in renowned for symbolizing the pursuit of excellence with integrity. The Heisman High School Scholarship extends the Heisman prestige to our nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by recognizing and rewarding outstanding scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories not only happen on the field, but in their schools and communities. Every year, the Better Business Bureau Integrity Foundation proudly recognizes high school seniors from the Middle TN and Southern KY area who personify sound ethical behavior and decision making in their leadership roles at school and in their community. Recipients are selected by a panel of judges to receive a $1,000 scholarship paid to the accredited college, university, or trade school of their choice.
Since the program’s inception in 2005, BBB’s Integrity Foundation has awarded a total of over $100,000 in scholarships to high school students in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
The 2022 Students of Integrity Scholarship program is now accepting applications. All seniors that attend a high school located within our service area are invited to apply!

Coca-Cola Scholars Program
Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Students need a 3.0 GPA and to fill out an online application that requires no essays, no recommendations, and no transcripts by October 31, 2021, at 5 p.m. Eastern.

NSHSS will award $2,000 to five (5) high school sophomore, junior, or senior students who have demonstrated a commitment to expanding the diversity and inclusion initiatives in their school, community, or workplace.
Application Requirements:
Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question: How have you raised awareness for or helped to expand the diversity and inclusion initiatives in your school, community, and/or workplace? Please be sure to include your leadership roles in furthering a more diverse and inclusive environment. Student should have pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional). NOVEMBER
TN Promise Scholarship
Tennessee Promise provides students a last-dollar scholarship, meaning the scholarship will cover tuition and fees not covered by the Pell grant, the HOPE scholarship, or state student assistance funds. Students may use the scholarship at any of the state’s 13 community colleges, 27 colleges of applied technology, or other eligible institution offering an associate’s degree program. There are no GPA or ACT requirements to qualify, but students must apply by November 1 at http://tennesseepromise.gov and complete student checklist.

Automotive Women’s Association Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to female students with at least a 3.0 GPA with a passion for a career or advancement in the automotive and its related industries. Includes resume and essay. Majority of scholarships are $2500.00

Live Mas Scholarship (Taco Bell)
This scholarship is for students (ages 16-26) who are passionate about creating a better future and making a positive impact on their community. This is not needs or achievement based; it is a passion-based scholarship program. Must submit an original video that tells a the story of real, driving passion. It could be a short film, animation or just a simple testimonial. Video must be a maximum of 2 minutes in length (minimum of 30 seconds in length) and must be no larger than 100 MB. John F. Kennedy Profiles In Courage Essay Contest
The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools. Essays must describe an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born. The official may have addressed an issue at the local, state, or national level.

Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship is open to seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in government service. Application inclueds: a one-page essay stating why he/she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware. This essay must be accompanied by a recommendation from the principal or counselor evaluating the student’s achievements, along with transcripts, national testing scores, and other supporting information.

The National Public Housing Agency Scholarship
Since 1985, PHADA has recognized and rewarded academic excellence in public and assisted housing youth through its scholarship program. Each year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.

The USDA has two Scholars programs that offer scholarships for students seeking a bachelor’s degree at an eligible 1890 and 1994 Land-Grant Universities in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences or other related. High school and current college students are eligible to apply for these two programs which provide full tuition, fees, books, room and board, and a summer internship which may convert to full-time employment with USDA after graduation.

Have a combined verbal/math score of 1,080 or more on the SAT or a composite score of 21 or more on the ACT.
Demonstrate leadership and community service.

The Community Foundation Scholarship Program
The Community Foundation Scholarship Program administers more than 100 scholarship funds through an open application process. Some scholarships help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students most in need.

The Department of Chemistry and Physics at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announces the Westbrook Scholarship Program for 2023. Awards of $14,000 over four years will be presented to as many as 7 entering freshmen majoring in Chemistry or Physics. The awards are renewable over a four-year period and can be added to other University scholarships and the Tennessee Lottery scholarship. Student must be accepted for admission to UTC, complete high school chem or physics with a grade of A or B, have a GPA of at least 3.5, earn a 26 or higher on ACT, and declare chem or physics as major at UTC. Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship
The SME Education Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing manufacturing and engineering related courses at two- or four-year technical schools, community colleges and universities within the United States or Canada.

Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians / Gold Award Scholarship
An award will be given to a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient whose troops, at the time of the award, was under the jurisdiction of GSMIDTN. Graduating Girl Scout Ambassadors who have received their Gold Award. Girls may only apply the year they graduate high school, no matter when they completed their Gold Award. If a girl is graduating in 2021, she must complete her Gold Award and have her exit interview prior to the February 1st deadline.

Farm Bill Scholarships at the College of Agriculture, TSU
Tennessee State University’s College of Agriculture has funding to provide partial and full-ride scholarships for the 2023-24 Academic Year to graduating seniors in high school and college transfer students. The Farm Bill Scholarships seek to encourage outstanding students to pursue and complete baccalaureate degrees in the food and agricultural sciences and related fields that will lead to a highly-skilled food and agricultural systems workforce.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors and community college/other college transfer students who demonstrate academic excellence, extraordinary leadership traits, and community service commitment. The scholarship is highly competitive and provides partial or full-ride scholarships to selected students accepted or already enrolled in the College of Agriculture at Tennessee State University.

Ned McWherter Scholars Program
The Ned McWherter Scholars Program is intended to encourage academically superior Tennessee high school seniors to attend college in Tennessee. Only 50 scholarships are awarded each year. Award amounts are up to $6,000 per academic year (i.e. $3,000 from TSAC and up to $3,000 from the college). Students must have a minimum 29 ACT Composite/1280 SAT and a minimum 3.5 GPA. An official transcript must be requested in guidance by February 12.

The Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites students to apply for the 2021 Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship. This prestigious scholarship is intended for an incoming freshman attending UTC who majors in Mathematics. The Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship is a $5,000.00 scholarship and provides $2,000.00 in the freshman year and $1,000.00 in each of the sophomore, junior, and senior years.

Terry Crisp Scholarship: New in 2023, the Terry Crisp Scholarship is a $5,000 annual grant to a Middle Tennessee high school senior that will enroll at a public college or university in the state of Tennessee. The scholarship will be awarded to the student that best possesses the traits that Terry embodied himself through his playing, coaching and broadcasting careers and all through his life: leadership, hard work, passion, perseverance and outstanding character. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded. Each scholarship award will be between $1,000 – $6,000.

The Army Engineer Spouses’ Club announces the Army Engineer Memorial Awards (AEMA). Applicants may be any graduating high school senior whose sponsor, parent, or legal guardian is a U.S. Army Engineer (active duty, retired or deceased), National Guard U.S. Army Engineer, Reserve U. S. Army Engineer, or current Dept of the Army employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), as well as a current member of the Army Engineer Spouses Club. The merit based awards are open to students in all fields of study and are based on academic and extracurricular achievement during high school. All monies awarded must be applied toward tuition or scholastic expenses at a college, university, technical or vocational school.

CEMC Senior Scholarship Program
Twelve graduating high school seniors (from CEMC five county service area) will be awarded $1000 academic scholarships. Each scholarship is to be used toward tuition, text books, and/or required class materials after the winner has enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited Tennessee college, university, or trade school of his/her choice. Scholarship awards are payable directly to the institution upon proof of enrollment.
Participation Requirements:
1. Student must be a graduating high school senior whose parents or guardian is a member of and receives electric service from CEMC at their primary place of residence.
2. Applicants shall be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full time student at an accredited Tennessee college, university (Murray State & Western KY included) or trade school of their choice by Fall 2023.
3. Eligible students must submit two favorably written references, one from a teacher or school official and another from a community leader. Letters of reference must be signed and either verified by counselor or mailed directly to CEMC.
4. An essay with a minimum of 300 words must be submitted with application on a separate piece of paper. The essay should be typed and double spaced and will be judged on subject content, composition, grammar, and neatness. Please see number 5 on application for writing prompt.
5. Student must have attained a minimum 3.0 CUMULATIVE GPA for scholarship eligibility. Attach photocopy of official transcript and ACT scores.
6. Children of CEMC employees, directors, attorneys, or of TECA and TVA employees are not eligible.

2023 Altra Foundation Scholarship
Altra Federal Credit Union believes being a good community member means giving something back. That’s why we’ve established the Altra Foundation, which offers scholarships to reward young members with a demonstrated history of community involvement. Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship
AFA’s Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College Scholarship Essay Contest is an annual competition for college-bound high seniors. Applicants are asked to write a 1,200 to 1,500-word essay that describes the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on themselves, their families or their communities, and what they have learned in light of coping with the brain disorder. The grand prize winner receives $5,000, with additional prizes awarded for runners up.

Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship
Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship was created to honor the memory of those courageous and adventuresome pioneer women who played such an important role in the founding of this nation and encourage the present generation to continue their education in agricultural pursuits. These two scholarships ($1,000 each) are available to any farm, ranch or agribusiness woman or her daughter to pursue accredited courses in agriculture leadership, communications, rural sociology, medicine, or any other courses directly related to agriculture.

Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship
The American Legion Auxiliary sponsors the Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship to support the children of our warriors. The Veterinary Summer Experience Program seeks to provide worthwhile opportunities for high school students interested in veterinary medicine while simultaneously generating a pool of potential veterinary students. To this end, the program has been designed to provide valuable educational experiences and acquaint students with all facets of our exciting profession. Students will shadow in a local veterinary practice in their hometown for five weeks and then spend one week in Knoxville as guests of the veterinary college. While here, they will be involved in various educational programs including lectures, laboratories, and clinical rotations.

Cornerstone Financial Credit Union will award one $5000 winner and twenty $1000 winners. Beyond the Burroughs National Scholarship
Beyond the Boroughs awards four-year scholarships — each worth up to $20,000 – to both male and female students of any race from any state. We aim to create deserved college scholarship opportunities for students, with a primary focus on first generation collegians.

Each year Cornerstone Financial Credit Union awards twenty $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors, and one lucky student receives $5,000.

The Jackie Louise Memorial Scholarship
Jackie Louise Memorial Scholarship was founded in 2016 in memory of the late Jackie Louise. The family values the importance of higher education, empowering students, along with providing some form of financial aid assistance. The Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship
The Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship is intended for an incoming freshman attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga who majors in mathematics. This is a $5000 scholarship, with $2000 awarded in the freshman year, and $1000 awarded for each of the sophomore, junior and senior years.

Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club Clarksville, TN 2022 Scholarship Program
The Clarksville TN Buffalo Soldiers Scholarships are annual awards up to the amount of $1,000.00 for use toward college, university or trade school for costs and expenses. Scholarship awards are nonrenewable and are based on financial need. Application is open to high school seniors.

Nashville Sounds Foundation Scholarship
Each season, the Nashville Sounds Foundation awards scholarships to four deserving Middle Tennessee graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college in the fall.
Recipients are awarded a $2,500 scholarship to be used for their college tuition. To date, the Nashville Sounds Foundation has awarded $60,000 in scholarships, and is happy to continue helping local scholars continue their education.
The scholarship program is one way the Foundation fulfills its mission to utilize baseball to positively impact communities throughout Middle Tennessee by emphasizing the importance of social responsibility, education, and the power of sport to transform lives.

Clark Johns-Joe Stephens Memorial Scholarship
The 2022 Clark Johns-Joe Stephens Memorial Scholarship application is offered by Clarksville Masonic Lodge No 89 F&AM. This is a $1000 grant available to Montgomery County high school seniors that was established for the purpose of assisting the education beyond the high school level in a regular course of study at a degree granting college or university. The recipient must be registered as a full-time student in a Bachelors’ degree awarding/professional certification program. Consideration may be given for an Associate degree program in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) program of study with professional national certification upon graduation.
To receive consideration for the 2022 award, a completed application (with all required attachments) must be submitted by March 31, 2022. The recipient must be registered as a full-time student with a college or university during the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

UT Martin Mass Media and Strategic Communication Scholarship
Scholarship recipients must declare Mass Media and Strategic Communication as their major at UT Martin for Fall Semester, 2023. Any recipient who leaves UT Martin for any reason or who declares any major other than MMSC during the freshman year forfeits the scholarship.
You must include with this application:
a typed essay of not more than 250 words describing your college and career goals and
a letter of recommendation from your adviser or counselor or an instructor who has known you and your work for at least a year and who knows of your interest in a Mass Media and Strategic Communication career.
You will upload your essay and recommendation letter (Word document or PDF is preferred) on the last screen of the application. Please have these items ready before you begin your application.

National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club, Inc.
The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club is comprised of five regional areas called Frontiers (Northeast, Southeast, Great Lakes, Central and Western), each comprised of different states within the United States with one common goal. There will be 15 recipients across the 5 frontiers for a total of $25,000.00; and a single National Scholarship of $5000 will be awarded to one recipient, for a grand total of $30,000.00 to college-bound graduating high school seniors.

UT Martin Balanced Man Scholarship
Every year we offer thousands of dollars in scholarship money to first-time students at UT Martin who embody the principles of the Balanced Man. Awards are $500 for each recipient.
The Balanced Man Scholarship is open to first-time students at UT Martin, whether you are an incoming freshman or a transfer student. It is an equal opportunity scholarship, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, and parental status. Scholarship recipients are in no way obligated to join or affiliate with Sigma Phi Epsilon or any other greek organization.

On April 30, 2022, Women Elevated Inc will be giving out a $1000 scholarship to a military dependent high school senior. All requirements are included below:
ELIGIBILITY
– High School Senior.
– Candidate must be a dependent of active duty, retired or veteran honorable discharge.
– Candidate must be planning to attend a post-secondary institution. Awardee must enroll in an undergraduate program in an accredited post-secondary institution in the next fall term or forfeit the scholarship.

CRITERIA
– The candidate will submit in at least a 500-word but no more than 750, an essay on “How has being a military dependent effected your life?”
– Candidate must currently have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA
– Significant involvement in school and community activities.
– Candidate must have been accepted into post-secondary institution.
– Candidate must provide proof of military dependency.

The Fort Campbell Spouses Club (FCSC) Scholarship
The Fort Campbell Spouses Club (FCSC) Scholarship Committee facilitates and awards merit-based scholarships for eligible applicants of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and its surrounding military communities.
We offer scholarships to:
eligible high school seniors expecting to attend a college, university, trade school or technical school
eligible spouses enrolled in continuing education
Eligibility:
Must be a graduating senior of an accredited high school or home school program.
Must possess a valid US military identification card and be enrolled in DEERS.
Must be accepted or expect to be accepted by a college, university, trade or technical school for the upcoming fall or spring semester.
Must not be the recipient of a full-tuition scholarship (to include tuition, room and board) or an appointment to a military service academy.
Applicants (or their eligible parent): must be an active, associate, or honorary member, in full, of the Fort Campbell Spouses Club. If the spouse is not a member, but is eligible for membership, they may send membership dues with the application to become a member. Otherwise, in order for the dependent to receive a scholarship, FCSC membership dues will be taken out of the scholarship disbursement amount.
Must also be one of the following:
The dependent child of an active duty U.S. military sponsor assigned to Fort Campbell.
The dependent child of an active duty U.S. military sponsor whose last duty assignment was Fort Campbell and applicant resides in Montgomery, Christian, Stewart and Trigg County while sponsor is on a non-command sponsored assignment on orders.
The dependent child of an active duty retired U.S. military sponsor and both sponsor and applicant reside in Montgomery, Christian, Stewart and Trigg County.
The dependent child of a deceased member of the U.S. military forces and applicant resides in Montgomery, Christian, Stewart and Trigg County.

The 2023 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering $12,000 worth of Scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school.
The program includes:
