My name is Mrs. McMurry, and I am excited to lead your child in 8th grade ELA or 7th grade Social Studies! Together, we can achieve academic greatness! I can’t wait to get to know you and to start learning with you. The best way to contact me is through the DOJO app, but I also respond to email and phone calls.

A little more about me:
I am a proud CMCSS graduate, and attended middle school at Greenwood Middle School, which has since changed purposes and is the site of the Adult High School. I have a Bachelor’s from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Arkansas State University. I have 25 years of teaching experience in 2nd, 4th, and 5th, 7th, and 8th grades. Learning truly is a lifelong pursuit, and I hope to share my love of education with my students.
